ToolZone is a curated collection of 28 free online tools for developers, designers, writers, and everyday productivity. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no signup, no uploads. Your tool input never leaves your device.
Format and validate JSON, generate strong passwords, encode and decode Base64 or URLs, test regular expressions, convert colors, build CSS gradients, calculate BMI or age, generate Lorem Ipsum, hash text with MD5 or SHA-256, and more — all from a single fast, private, dark-themed workspace.
Whether you're a developer needing quick utilities, a designer working with colors and gradients, or a writer counting words and characters, ToolZone gives you instant, low-clutter access to professional-grade web tools that work offline once loaded.
Generate one or many random integers within any range you choose. Perfect for picking winners in giveaways, raffles, classroom activities, dice rolls, simulations or statistical sampling.
A community manager runs a giveaway with 842 valid entries numbered in a spreadsheet and must pick three winners without duplicates, on a live stream, in a way viewers accept as fair.
Setting the range to 1–842 and drawing three unique numbers on screen takes seconds and is visibly unmanipulated. The manager screenshots the result and posts it with the entry list so anyone can verify the winning rows.
Numbers come from the browser's random source scaled to your inclusive minimum and maximum. Naive scaling with a plain modulo introduces a slight bias toward the lower end of the range; the generator rejects out-of-band samples so every value in the range is equally likely.
When unique results are requested, drawn values are tracked and re-rolled on collision (or the range is shuffled when the count approaches the range size), guaranteeing no duplicates.
Generation is local and stateless: nothing is logged, and reloading the page draws a fresh, independent set.
Random-draw options compared:
| Tool | How it works | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Spreadsheet RANDBETWEEN | Formula-based random integers. | Recalculates on every edit, so results change unless you paste them as values. |
| Physical dice or drawing names | Tangible and intuitive. | Impractical beyond small ranges and hard to show at scale. |
| ToolZone Random Number Generator | Any range, multiple numbers, optional uniqueness, instant and unbiased. | Not a certified lottery RNG for regulated gambling. |
We use crypto.getRandomValues (CSPRNG), which is suitable for gaming, raffles and statistical sampling — not just pseudo-random like Math.random.
Yes — enable unique mode and we'll guarantee every number in the result is different (as long as the range supports it).
